Legends Casino and its employees understand the importance of being good citizens to the community and is paramount for good business.

Legends gives (2%) two percent of its Class III Table Games revenue to a Community Impact Fund. These funds are then distributed once a year, by a Community Impact Fund Committee. This committee is made up of 5 Representatives of local Community Governments. These funds have made it possible to purchase Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Police Vehicles, supplied funds for Road Improvements and other community projects.

Legends also has a Charity Fund of 1% (one percent) of the Class III gaming Machine Revenue. One half of 1% (one percent) is given to Tribal Charities and Non-Profit Organizations through Yakama Nation distribution.

The other one half of 1% (one percent) is distributed, once a year, to Non-Tribal, Non-Profit Organizations. Distribution of this portion of the funds is the responsibility of a Legends Employee Committee. Legends has given out hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities in our Community.

Applications for the Non-Tribal, Non-Profit can be returned to the Charitable Fund Committee from January 1, through March 31, yearly and these funds will be distributed by April 30 of each year. Applications need to be made in a letter format stating:

1. Name of Organization.
2. What this Organization does.
3. How much money the Organization is seeking.
4. How will this money be utilized (spent).
5. A copy of a Washington State, Certified, Non-Profit Status Form. (Must be submitted with written request. If this non-profit status form is not attached, your organization.s request will not be considered for funding.)

Yakama Nation Legends Casino also recognizes the importance and the potential benefits of developing strong community relations through financial participation and active involvement with local and regional non-profit organizations and events. Our Sponsorship Program is designed to assist local organizations by providing support, enhance the quality of life and focus on the needs of the Community. Requests for Sponsorship Funds is accepted through an Application Process. Applications should be submitted to the Executive Offices of Yakama Nation Legends Casino or by mailing to Legends Casino, 580 Fort Road, Toppenish, WA 98948 . Atten: Sponsorship Committee.
